Today in Green

I bought the shirt at the MOA during the afore mentioned shopping trip. The socks I purchased while in Chicago last weekend at the Paul Frank store. The socks were an interesting choice for me because I hate to spend money on socks. I am not one of those people who is into socks and has a sock drawer that really says something about their personality, but the socks were on sale and they were green.

It's been too long

It's been awhile since I last posted but I am back in business! I had a little technical difficulty with my camera battery being lost, then my camera was lost, but that's all resolved.

One thing that I would like to note is that a few weeks ago the weather turned a bit warm after a long bout with the cold. I was inspired to travel out to the MOA and do a little shopping. I was in the mood for some new spring clothes. I was amazed at all the green clothing the I spotted at the mall and of course cursed myself for not having my camera. It was also interesting that the next Monday, MCAD students were wearing new clothes. I have noticed more green when the weather is nicer.

In full effect

Maybe because it's not so cold today that some people are wearing green. I wore my green sweater, because I had a presentation this morning and I needed something clean. I tell you though, I really felt spunky today. I got a few winks from some gentleman....

Crazy Green Eyeshadow

Since there was no green to be found, I went looking for it on Flickr. My keyword search was crazy green eyeshadow and here's what I found.

It ain's easy, seeing green

It was only a matter of time before I used that reference. I actually got out this weekend and there was no green to be found none! I looked around at my internship on Thursday and Friday and no one was wearing anything green. I went out that night to the Bulldog and the Otter and no green. Sunday I went out for lunch at the Longfellow grill and no green. I have had my trusty 2.0 megapixel ready to point and shoot, but there's been nothing. maybe it's just too cold???

When in doubt, shop online

I haven't seen much green around lately. I have been looking. There was some great green in class on Monday, but of course I didn't have my camera. My instructor had on a perfect example of the kink of green I am interested in, and a fellow classmate had on a great green sweatshirt. Hopefully I'll see those articles of clothing again later in the semester. My professor for my class this morning decided to change up his wardrobe and did not have on the olive green pullover. These images are from one of my favorite shops, and represent a spectrum of different green options for gorgeous spring clothing. I would like to see some more green.

Not much green this weekend

I wonder if it has anything to do with the arctic temperatures or the fact that it was so cold that I really didn't go anywhere to see people wearing green. Regardless. I wore a vest to my internship on Friday that was cream with green flowers, I am not too modest to say that it was well received.
Wait....I did spot of hint of green while at a Prairie Home Companion on Friday. A blond woman with perfectly white skin had on a dark green silk halter dress. I wasn't allowed to bring my camera in so there is no photo to document it. A side note, to anyone who has never gone to see the Prairie Home Companion, GO!! I went to the dress rehearsal that they do on Friday night and it was great, good old fashioned entertainment.

There is another green that I would like to talk about and that is the world renowned Starbucks green. I was there yesterday, I have a weakness for their pumpkin spice latte. Say what you will about the empire that is Starbucks, but I really like their green. I wished that they didn't decorate their stores in the pukey sage green and beige color palette that they seem so fond of. I wish that the stores would just be black, white, and green. Modern and streamlined. That's all I've got for this weekend.
